Annette Pallowick
 
Annette has been teaching swimming since 1978.  She was first certified in 1971 as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard.  Annette continued expanding her knowledge of swim training in 1980, becoming trained in YMCA teaching methods for their aquatic programs, including Lifeguarding, while working for the
Ft. Lauderdale YMCA, in Broward County, Florida. 
 
In 1986, Annette went to work as a swimming pool manager for the City of Plantation, Florida.  She was responsible for developing programming for the 50m facility and expansion of the facility. Swimming pool maintenance is one area of aquatics in which she has become proficient, performing and assisting others with pool maintenance problems.  She teaches the NRPA AFO Course, a nationally certified course, for Aquatic Facility Operators.  Annette has been active in drowning prevention programs around Florida for many different agencies. 
 
Annette teaches young children from 6 months through adult, from beginning water awareness through triathlon swim training for adults.  Her goal is to assist anyone in the water achieve their goals for swimming and water safety.
 
Presently, Annette works part-time in her "retirement" jobs as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor for the City of Indian Harbour Beach, HealthFirst Pro-Health and Fitness as a swim instructor and performs swimming pool maintenance for both agencies.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and his wife. Her hobbies are swimming, biking, skiing, and working out.
 
 
Chris Crotty

Chris is a graduate of Slippery Rock State College with a BS in Health and Physical Education.  She was the 1981 National YMCA Masters Champion in the 1650 Freestyle (that means she really knows swim technique).  Chris has coached swimming and developed some of Brevard County's finest swimmers.

Chris has been an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor since 1974.  She has used that talent to help swimmers, both young and old, and those with special needs, learn to enjoy the water and use their skills to enhance their lifestyles.  

Chris was the Aquatic Coordinator for Pro-Health and Fitness, and now is one of the supervisors at the Pro-Health and Fitness Viera.  

Chris spends her leisure time training for marathons.  She has been running marathons since 2000, and racing triathlons since 2002.  She states, "both just a fun hobby~not great at either."  Most people will disagree with her statement!
