As of May 2011 we have two beehives at the location of our monthly meetings (Leon County Agriculture Extension Office) The hives were donated by Bob Livingston and he did the work on getting them in place with a nice fence. Thanks Bob!! We will be opening them two times a month (The Tuesday of our monthly meeting at 5:30pm and the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30) Please bring your veil to the demonstrations. If you would like to sign up to lead one of the demonstrations (you can be a beginner beekeeper to do this!) email Heather at hagamper@hotmail.com and I will add you to this list.
