HistoryThe Club was formed in 1962 and now has 7 all weather floodlit courts plus a mini tennis court. It is run by members on a voluntary basis and has approximately 450 members. The Club values its reputation as a friendly family club with excellent facilities.
Adult MembersTennis is played throughout the year from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. There are 6 hosted sessions each week and arranged play allows for courts to be booked in advance.

Matches & TournamentsMen's and Ladies teams compete in the Sussex County L.T.A. summer and winter leagues and mixed teams play in the Mixed Veterans League. Friendly matches are arranged against local clubs and there are Club Tournaments throughout the year.
Junior SectionThere is a very active Junior section who meet between 9.00 a.m. and 12.00 midday on Saturday mornings. Junior week is held in the summer holidays and includes the Club's Junior Championships. Junior teams are entered in the National and Sussex Leagues. The Club also runs the Angmering Community Tennis Program (ACTP) providing tennis coaching for children aged 5 to 16 from local schools and in the community. Any child can be enrolled in this program at a cost of £5 per hour.
Coaching
The club has three licensed coaches and a Performance Professional coach who provide individual, group and team coaching throughout the year, catering for the needs of all playing standards.
Social EventsSocial Events are held for both Adult and Junior members in the Clubhouse, which has good facilities including a bar and lounge area with a tea/coffee machine. There is a Games Room with Table Tennis, Television and Soft Drinks machine. Membership |
