The Settlement Cook Book
Found at Goodwill. This is a 1940s edition of a cookbook originally published in 1901. Some of the recipes are the same as the earlier editions, but others are different. It has lots of European and Jewish recipes that other cookbooks of the era often don't include.
Settlement Cookbook 1920s? 04
The most interesting part to me was that the original receipt was still tucked in the book. You can see it is dated 1927. The book was $2.50. Not sure how much Paprika paid for it.
