"Holy War" is an ongoing project at the company were i work. These are old shots from a December 2004 build. I coded the graphics engine and most of the gameplay code. It features a fully realtime lighting system complete with a dynamic day/night cycle. I'll try to post a video showcasing some of the technology involved in a few days...

Here is a video showing the day/night cycle and how the lighting changes in response to it. Many elements of the scene are also linked to the physics system and therefore completly dynamic. This video, like the screenshots above, was based on the December 2004 build of the game and doesn't reflect the look and feel of the final product.
