IMG 2345 The non - return valve for the Clayton De Wandre servo was produced by the same company. This sits on top of the bulkhead and was used on the 541/541R and 541S models. There is a small gauze filter that needs cleaning when doing a major overhaul and is located between the brass and alloy castings. Remove the two hex head 5/16"BSF bolts for access. There is a gasket between the two parts that must be replaced if damaged. NCTP Project
This is the machine and the close-up of the actuator (built by Moog Aerospace) that was our test bed for our $1.9 million ATP funded Non-Circular Turning Project (NCTP). This machine reduced the cycle time to make a cam-shaft from 45 minutes to 5 minutes.
