How It works:
Electroplating uses electrical current to pull small amounts of metal from the positively charged tin-zinc anode bar through an electrolyte solution and onto the negatively charged piece to be plated. Plating begins as soon as the piece is placed in the solution. The longer the piece is submerged, the heavier the coating on the piece will be. You can remove the piece from the solution to check the progress and replace it for a thicker coating. The process is finished when the piece is covered with a uniform dull gray film which easily polishes to a beautiful shine. Requires 2 D cell batteries not included.
