- Car and Rail Directions to the Adele H. Stamp Student Union (For those who are arriving through Metro to the College Park-U of MD Station (on the green line towards Greenbelt) you need to take the UMD Shuttle #104. The shuttle is free and anyone can use it; more importantly its last stop on campus is right across the street from the Stamp Student Union).

- Visitor Parking Webpage. On weekends the parking garages fares are:
- $3.00 per ONE HOUR
- $5.00 MAXIMUM DAILY RATE

- Union Lane Garage is right beside the Stamp Student Union.
- Finally, there are some lots that after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays (and all day weekends) are free for anyone to park without a permit. There are various lots with these restrictions. If you decide to park in one of these lots, closely observe the restrictions on each lot sign. Some of these lots might say that you can park after said hours without a permit (Which are the ones that you can park). Avoid those that say that you need a permit even after weekday work hours. Here is a link to a Parking Map that shows parking spaces and details those with restrictions. But these restrictions might change if there is a sports event occurring.
- For example: You can park in lots 1 (right behind the Art &Sociology building) and 5 (last level of Regents Drive Garage) on weekends without a permit
