Tourist walking in the Old Souq.
Malaysian tourist in Dubai. It was after dinner. We decided to take a stroll along the Bur Dubai creek banks. The Old Souq was winding down after the day's trade. Even so, they had not packed for the day as yet. We took a stroll from the Heritage Village to our hotel in Al-Maktoub near Burjuman Centre. The night was cool and we took in the night sights, stopping to peek into the shop displays. After a while we tried to get a cab to get back to our hotel, only to discover that our hotel was about 1km away. So we walked all the way back to the hotel.
walk on top of the city
in the lobby of the building across the street from the ferry terminal is a map of Sydney under glass that you can actually walk on and view it from above. I not only liked the reflections in the glass but seeing the city in this way was pretty cool! It's just one of those things that you wouldn't know was there unless someone told you.
