I have lived most of my life in either Fargo, North Dakota or Littleton, Colorado. You haven't experienced winter until you have lived in North Dakota. I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN a long time ago. I have been a Language Arts teacher for 10 years and have had the pleasure of having laptop computers in my classroom for the past two years. That experience alone has sincerely transformed my teaching as well as the learning in my classroom. I have also been a part of an intense staff development process over the past few years exploring what learning looks like, how kids learn best, as well as the latest and greatest in technology tools to assist in transforming my classroom into a 21st century learning environment where students are in-charge of their own learning. I have one biological child (Emma-6) and two step-children (Jackson-7 and Will-4). I am getting married to a wonderful man and love of my life Jeff on June 6, 2009.

My Interests:
I love to read, play volleyball, run, be with my family and friends. I love to play games. I am pretty competitive just to be forewarned! Also, there is nothing better than just sitting around with the people you love the most laughing, joking, and playing games.
