I have been painting for over 35 years. I love the feel of the brush, laden with oil paint as it drags across the canvas surface.  Currently, my painting work consists of oil paint on linen. Images come from home and the things that surround me, as well as places I have seen in my travels.  In the last 10 years, I have begun to include figures in my work. This increases the narrative possibilities of my paintings.  At the core is always a sense of place and time.  I have always been fascinated by the way light falls on and defines objects.
