- Served on planning committee for Madison Youth Grow Local conference, a day of workshops on youth gardening and cooking for Wisconsin educators, and designed the conference website (Spring 2010)
- Organized planning committees for first and second annual CHE Graduate Student Symposiums (Spring 2008-09)
- Helped to organize and lead a three-day CHE trip focused on Southwestern Wisconsin agricultural landscapes, with visits to the Kickapoo Reserve, CSA farms, the Muscoda Bison Range, cheesemakers, and Organic Valley (May 2008)
