I am a Professor of Mathematics at the Departement of Mathemathics and Statistics of the University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. 


The scope of this web page is to provide information about my research, my professional activities, and my publications. 

I am a member of the  IFIPWorking Group 1.5 - "Cellular Automata and Discrete Complex Systems".

I am member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Cellular Automata. If you share my interest in Cellular Automata, consider this journal both as a reader and as an author, as it may apply. 

I am chairing two workshop within the framework of ICCS 2010: "Engineered & Social Networks: Theory and Applications" and "Cognitive Agents: Theory & Applications". Both events will take place  in Amsterdam, May 31-June 2, 2010. If you have interesting research in either one or both of these two areas, I invite you to submit your paper or papers by January 22, 2010.

I am also a senior member of the IEEE, where I am active within the IEEE CIS (IEEE Computational Intelligence Society) and, among other roles, I am Chapter Chair of the "Signals & Computational Intelligence Joint Chapter" of the IEEE Toronto Section.
