The Team

The NZPWG was initiated by six women golfers who are strongly associated with the game and either has previously or continues to play, coach or caddy on various professional tours. 

Stephanie Alderlieste (Steph Jolly) 

 

Steph is a founding (and current) member of the Ladies European Tour (LET). Steph has coached in England, Dubai, United Arab Emirates and more recently in New Zealand, where she lives with her husband and two boys on their farm in North Waikato. Steph is responsible for Sponsorship, Public Relations and Media.





 


Susan is a fully qualified PGA Professional AAA class. She has played on the LET Tour (1996-2001), Asian and US Futures Tour and is currently a member of the Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour (ALPG). Susan coaches full time in Auckland and is a former High Performance Coach for NZ Golf.  She sits on various golfing boards including NZPGA and First Tee of NZ.  Susan is responsible for Finance and fundraising for New Zealand women's charities.
 



Liz McKinnon (Liz Aitken)

After graduating from the University of Auckland with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, Liz took her game to Europe where she worked for the Highland Institute of Sport. Shortly after moving to Europe she gained her card to both the LET (2005-2009) and ALPG (2005-present). She returned to New Zealand with her husband to work for New Zealand Golf as the Junior Golf Coordinator and she continues to write for NZ Golf Magazine and present on the HSBC Golf Show. Liz is responsible for Amateur Entries.




 

Pam Greenhalgh
 (Pam Sowden)


After graduating from the University of Oregon, Pam played on USA Futures Tour (2001-2003), LET (2003-2005) and continues to play on the ALPG (2003-present). Since returning home to New Zealand Pam works as North Harbour Golf Development Manager. Pam is responsible for Venue and Course Relationships and Logistics.




 


Vicki graduated from Otago University with a Masters in Physical Education majoring in Sport Psychology after which she went to ply her trade on the LET (2001-2007). Vicki currently works in Auckland as both a consultant in the area of sports psychology (she is the mental skills service provider to NZ Golf, NZ PGA and North Harbour Rugby Academy) and is the Golf Development Manager for North Harbour Golf. Vicki is responsible for Professional Entries.



 


 

Kate McCleery (Kate Logan)

After graduating from Otago University with a BA, BCom and Masters of Business (distinction) focusing on management. Kate was actively involved on the LET and ALPG. Kate has worked in various multinational companies here and in the UK. Kate is responsible for project managing our events and managing our brand.
