 | Anita was a 36 year old Golf Professional who committed herself to playing golf at an elite level over the past 13 years. She was a past member of both the Huapai and Muriwai Golf Clubs and developed a number of friendships within these clubs. She was a very down to earth, outgoing person who showed great determination to achieve. She was admired for being a long hitter of the ball and was able to back up this skill with a great short game. Anita also taught a number of beginner golfers in the North Harbour area and until her recent passing. She also taught and inspired her two nephews to learn golf. She passed away with ovarian cancer in September 2009. |
