About the New Zealand Professional Women Golfers Charitable Trust
The New Zealand Professional Women Golfers Charitable Trust (NZPWG) is a New Zealand charitable trust which creates pro-ams starring women professional golfers.
Formed in 2009 the trust is built to deliver upon a three-tiered mission:
- provide opportunities for women professional golfers to compete in New Zealand
- fund-raise for New Zealand women's charities;
- encourage women to increase their physical activity and engage socially by playing golf over their lifetime.
We aim to establish a number of events that can be played, as either build up to the New Zealand Womens Open or simply a chance for women professional golfers to play in a friendly but competitive environment.
