We'll be holding a film screening and discussion of 'The Witness' (Jenny Stein: 2000) on Tuesday, January 26, at 6:00 PM in Burnside 512 (in the Geography library on the fifth floor).  Immediately afterwards we'll be holding a general meeting to introduce new members to the group and to get to work on our upcoming projects, including the Veggie Pride parade.

Also, on Friday, January 29, at 6:00 PM we'll be meeting at Aux Vivres restaurant on 4631 boul. Saint-Laurent.  Be sure to RSVP either by email or by Facebook so we'll have some idea of how many places to reserve.  All are welcome!

The McGill Vegan: Call for Submissions!

We are calling for submissions for the third edition of The McGill Vegan, a newsletter for anything relating to animal rights and vegan outreach.  We welcome submissions of book reviews, news articles, interviews, feature articles, comics, fiction, poetry, restaurant reviews, recipes, and anything else that comes to mind!   Some possible topics include the new 'Vegan Option' stickers in the cafeterias, a review of the recent 'Terriens' premiere at UQAM, or a discussion of animal experimentation on campus.

Send you submissions and feedback to themcgillvegan@gmail.com by February 19th.

PDFs of the first and second editions are available online.

(Feel free to pass this call for submissions on to anyone who might be interested!)
