Arachnida
(include spiders, scorpions, harvestmen, ticks and mites) All have eight jointed legs and are invertebrates.

    Araneae (Spiders)


            Araneae are air breathing arthropods that have segmented bodies, are carnivorous, have eight legs, fangs to inject venom, have no ability to chew, have two body segments, ability to produce silk, and a exoskeleton.

            Unlike insects they have no wings or antennae.
 
    Scorpiones (scorpions)


            Scorpiones are air breathing arthropods that have segmented bodies, are carnivorous, have eight legs, a aculeus (stinger) at the end of its tail to inject venom, does not have the ability to eat solids, has two body segments and an exoskeleton.
