Danger!!
This is what I cut my thumb on....we were having sewage problems and when I flushed the toilet, water came out of the toilet and went all in the floor. I tried to shut off the water at this valve and that sharp part sticking out on the right side is what sliced my thumb because the valve was stuck and it looked like somebody used some pliers on it before. After this failed, I pulled the lid off to hold up the float to stop the water and that is how the blood got all over the lid and stuff. Didn't realize I had cut my thumb until i saw blood everywhere. It was on the walls and floor too.
Riding my dryer in the dark
When I finally got into my cabin yesterday I realized that a water pipe had broken and flooded the basement. I turned the power off so I could investigate without getting electrocuted, only to not be able to find the shut off valve for the water.... So I walked down to the boat house, grabbed an oar, and rode the dryer around the basement until help arrived. I was surprised my iPhone could even take a pic in the dark, all I had for light was a little flashlight.
