I wanted to build a virtual cabin in the trees in Leafy Glen...so I did. An MSN Group you're welcome to look around and apply to join if you like what you see. A virtual place of respite and comfort for friendly people to congregate and share what they will of themselves. Hope to gather a nice group...artists, aspiring authors, people with no axes to grind, who just like the camaradrie that comes with exchanging ideas. The site was built for comfort, not for speed. A place for relaxing, refreshing and maybe even rejuvenation...where the bar is always open, and the coffee is always hot and robust.

A few bytes of ME!
I like to write, and chat, and travel when I can, primarily to Ireland, but hope to visit the UK as soon as possible.
I love music of all kinds, but Irish most of all. Cats rule my Idaho life. I'm an old woman, with a fairly optimistic Libran outlook on life. Even at this late stage my education is ongoing.
I admire talent of any kind.
I adore the internet, and spend far too much time in aimless surfing just for fun; but have made lifelong friends as well.
I'm an unapologetic smoker and drinker of beer and gin/tonic.
I'm comfortable with my vices, and intend to hang onto them as long as I can.
I shoot 8-Ball like a vicious bastard, and I don't like to lose to friend, foe, or Himself, who taught me finesse.
I think television is great, and genealogy, used to fish a lot, and sew, and ride horseback. Now mostly I go yard saleing for fun/profit.
I don't cook breakfast unless I have to, and drink gallons of coffee before I can think about eating, or civility.
I believe that hate is an apt euphemism for fear.
I HATE SNOW, and CLIFFS, and being STRANDED in HIGH PLACES.
You can see I like to eat....I like just about everything but okra, though I've never tried it deep fried...can't possibly be worse than yummy Calamari can it? If they're breaded right I'd eat fried shoelaces...what the hell.
I look like this most of the time...unfortunately I've morphed into both my parents, not quite reconciled to aging yet, but I no longer hate the idea of death.
