Andrew Whelan House is a Grand Victorian built in 1862 in the Castro
district
of San Francisco. Offering a mature garden filled with fruit trees and
a
quiet hammock, this beautifully appointed home offers gated security
and
"country quiet" only five minutes from downtown San Francisco. Our
guests often comment, and repeatedly return to this lovely home and
garden because of the hospitality. Visitors
appreciate the short one block walk to the historic F-line
transit or MUNI underground (down Market Street) to the financial district, Moscone
Convention Center, Cable Cars,
Union Square,
and Fisherman's Wharf. You will love the local restaurants, shopping, and the other attractions of
the Castro district. Visiting medical professionals like our proximity to the new UCSF
Campus down 16th street, and Davies CPMC Hospital. In our 15 years as an exclusive bed and breakfast we have entertained many wonderful repeat
guests who are singles, couples, and parents visiting their children in the Castro/Noe Valley/16th Street
