Summary

Since 12/2009 Andreas is a PhD-Student at AIFB (Group: Knowledge Management) at the KIT (Karlsruhe, Germany). His supervisor is Rudi Studer. Andreas is interested in Semantic Web Technologies (with a strong focus on semantic search). From a practical perspective, Andreas applies this line of research in the energy domain (i.e., handling of data in the Smart Grid).

Research Interests

Semantic technologies with focus on semantic search. Also, given a Semantic Web context, I am interested in:
  • Information retrieval
  • Database technologies
  • Machine learning
