On Friday 29th of July the Council for British Archaeology Day of Archaeology was held, featuring the work of 400 archaeologists worldwide. Each archaeologist then blogged about what they got up to during one day and in turn these were then published on the internet.

The Society's David Standing was one of the worldwide 400 and his day was spent at Llantarnam Abbey. You can read about his exploits here.
