In the infinite ocean of potential, breath is that which separates each person, like each individual wave. Through breath, we access the totality of the unconscious ocean and have the transcendent experience of Being Conscious of All of Creation at once. It is an Immense, Infinite Light, where our chaotic history dissolves and you only feel that Life has perfect meaning, and great value. There are quite a few different forms of Breathwork, Eastern and Western. Bioenergetics was developed by an American Psychiatrist, in the 1940's. It's not a variation of any Eastern modality. It is a unique system. The results are out of this world. People recover lost memories forgotten due to trauma in childhood, long repressed emotions come to the surface to be felt for the first time, people even have ecstatic experiences where they journey to meet their God and Goddess. Breathwork is very safe and nurturing for the soul as well as the body. It is a way of accessing hidden energy within you. In a breathwork session, release of negative energy occurs, by releasing anxiety, stress, fatigue, repressed emotions, forgotten memories due to trauma. The Value of Meditation Meditation is for everyone. Not only those who practice Yoga or live secluded lives in the Himalayas. It is a simple gift that God gave to you and me that helps us center ourselves amidst chaos and confusion and remind us that the Supreme Creator, who resides within the heart, can only bring peace. In the Autobiography of a Yogi, Yogananda describes how during the time of WWII, London was being ravaged by bombs, and yet, the meditating groups continued their meditations amidst the explosions, and the meditation was adding enjoyment to their lives. This is a good lesson for us now, as the financial crisis envelops so many cities in the world, to keep meditating through it. If you are stressed out all day, take 10 minutes to meditate. You will be replenished with new energy for your mind. You will gain the world - a vision of a peaceful world, a vision of heaven, which is really timeless. But if you work right through these 10 minutes, you likely will have gained nothing more than more stress. I teach Yoga and meditation. Take a look at the schedule of classes here. Cleansing Prevents Disease For adults, as well as children, one crucial way to purify the body is to do periodic cleanses. If you've never done a colon cleanse, look into it asap. Things will come out of you that you would never believe were there if you were told. Do the necessary research first, to find one that's right for you. Besides many excellent legitimately pricy products, there are unfortunately scammy products out there too, that don't do more than a regular fruit juice would, but are 1000 times more expensive than fruit juice. David Wolfe, a world famous expert on nutrition, has a lot of great advise on cleansing. He appears at Health Fairs, like New Life Expo, where you will find many good cleansing programs. The Master Cleanse is one of the most effective, safest and also the simplest cleansing programs. It's a fasting type of cleanse where you drink water with an admixtures of lemon juice, maple syrup and cyan pepper, while eating no solid food at all. Some people do this for 10 days, some more. I've known of a case where a person did it for 40 days, while continuing to go to his 9-5 job. So, don't worry, 10 days is more than doable. You won't collapse, you won't faint. You will be fine. I highly recommend that, while you are not on a cleansing program, that you make juices or smoothies once a day, with fresh fruit. Adding alfalfa powder and psyllium husks to the mix creates a very mild, gentle cleanse, that helps to increase regularity, and detoxifies you from things like *sulfites. For people who are on the go, and are under stress often, this type of cleansing is ideal. It does not interfere with your routine, while you still get the benefit of a cleanse. *Sulfites are added to canned food to keep it preserved, but they also cause glandular swelling. Women's breast glands actually begin to hurt from the swelling, and this is a more common problem, than many are aware of. Women will complain of pain in their breasts and doctors will tell them it's their bra, where in fact it's the chemicals in the body that are not being processed and stored in the glands, and the glands fight to produce anti toxins at a rapid rate. Healing for Your Soul The Angels are infinitely more powerful and loving than you think; let them guide you. Accept what comes; use it to master the art of living. Criticism doesn't heal. When going into something new, take baby steps. Share love with people, in any form. Keep trying. Have a rich emotional life, and don't be afraid to show it. Take time to dream.
