August 2nd: I just watched Spy Kids 3, Game over. It really is a good movie. I liked it a lot.

Oh, and I'm steaming forward in practicing my alphabet. 

I'm also swimming with a noodle now. I can kick and everything. Some strokes with my arms. :)

July 22nd: I've been practicing writing my alphabet and spelling a few words. Lowercase letters are especially hard. Here's me right now:

July 13th: Guess what? I can swim now, without my noodle! Oh, and I can blow bubbles. Mommy bought me a special mask that can cover my nose, so I can put my head underwater, too. Everyone has been teaching me and I'm having a lot of fun.

July 7th: I had a lot of fun at the library today- we were doing paper mache masks. I guess summer reading has really started :)

July 3rd: I loved my birthday party! It was so much fun. I got some presents: A barbie doll, a scooter, and a new bathing suit! I like them all! The scooter is red and gray and just right for me. The barbie is a beach barbie and has a comb and a bag and sunglasses. The bathing suit is pink with circles made from dots.

July 1st: I've been swimming a lot! Here are some pictures. I can kick and paddle with my vest and my noodle, which is orange like my vest. I like to swim a lot. The pool is cold, sometimes, though.

June 21st: Today I helped make Daddy a book for his birthday. I drew him a picture of our family with my crayons. Teddy got a movie from the library that I didn't like. I liked the ice cream cake. I want an ice cream cake for my birthday too! 

June 20th: I forgot to tell everyone that I finished the workbook "Beginning and Ending Sounds". My certificate is up on the wall. Now I am working on "Following Direction

June 19th: I have learned one word in Spanish from my favorite show, Dora the Explorer. The word is "ayudame", which means "help me".  My older sister says it is from the verb ayudar, meaning to help, and me, meaning me, so together ayudame means help me. 

I've actually joined the summer reading program at the library, and I can read nine books a day. Actually, Mommy reads them to me. I am learning how to read, though. We have to fill out a chart to earn prizes. My sister has already filled out her entire chart! 

June 16th: I'm starting to learn how to read... my first few words I can spell are:

RED, CAT, THREE, BOY

And I read a book with these words. The story went like this:

There was a girl and she was three and had a blue cat. There was a boy and he had a mouse that was red and he said hello.

I  just watched the story of Aladdin and the Forty Thieves. 

Aladdin and Jasmine are about to get married, but Aladdin's father, the King of Thieves, interrupts the wedding. He tries to steal the Oracle, and Aladdin goes after his dad. Then, Aladdin kills Saluk and is one of the forty thieves. His father is invited to the wedding, but is caught and thrown into the dungeon. Aladdin breaks his father out, but returns to Jasmine. The parrot comes to Aladdin saying his father is in trouble with Saluk, who didn't die. They go to the vanishing island on the turtle and get the hand of Midas. Aladdin's father throws the hand into the ship, turning it to gold and drowning the rest of the forty thieves. Then, Aladdin and Jasmine get married and they live happily ever after.

May 27th: The school year is ending soon, and I look forward to another year of Preschool next year. I will still be in Ms. Annese's class.

Over memorial day weekend, a long weekend, I worked on a project about Belle, from the Beauty and the Beast. 

Belle's Story:

Once upon a time, Belle's father was a merchant who picked a rose. And the Beast was mad at him for taking his rose, so he ordered Belle to live with him. She did, but missed her dad, so she had seven days to see him. She returned late, and the Beast was dying. She told the Beast that she loved him, and he turned into a prince. They got married and lived happily ever after.
