Updates:

August 6th, 2008:

Spent day cleaning up websites. No comment. Didn't do much. So much stuff I make and then I ditch. Icky icky icky!

Going on vacation soon, I'm so excited! Two more days! Oh, and I have tennis today...I should probably get ready and eat lunch so I don't hurt myself and collapse. :) Toodles!

August 2nd, 2008:

OMG, I haven't written in so long- so sorry! I've just been so busy playing tennis and tutoring and volunteering for activities- ha ha, I'm actually getting PAID! :) Happy, I guess.

Still in a bit of self pity. No luck right now, but I don't wanna talk about it. Packing now for vaca in six days. Can you believe it? SIX DAYS! YES! So excited- can't wait for the seafood and the extreme hiking. :)

Uh, been having a bit of trouble in some stuff, but I'm working it out. Anyone know any good math hands on experiments? Still reflecting and everything, but life is good, I guess.

Oh, and Breaking Dawn came out today. Reserved it at 8:30 am this morning, and I'm already number 60. Out of a hundred. Ridiculous, right? :( Oh, and I'm almost at the top for Artemis Fowl- 4/15. Close, right? Think I should read Queste, too? Maybe. Can't wait for Brisingr to come out in September! It's going to be good, I can feel it.

Anyway, pictures are up on the family news page, so I won't add any here. Only prob is, everything is in Iphoto right now, so it takes so long to upload that I only put a few up. When I'm a bit more patient, I'll upload the rest. Sorry for the wait.

Oh, and I just finished making a Summer 2008 video for the family- relatives are coming soon, in a few days, so they'll take it back with them. It turned out really nice, I have to say. :) Good for me, right?

I guess I'm improving in tennis, I guess. Everything just so much these days. Like I'm stuck in a whirlwind. Actually, I can't wait until September. For once, you know?

Taken up friendship bracelet making, too. And Lanyard is coming along nicely. I'll post a few pics when I get a chance. :P

I know I'm rambling a bit, so ta ta for now! Adios!

July 22nd, 2008:

Spent last few days wallowing in self pity. No comment.

Some pity pictures I took:

More lanyard pics:

Heart- Superbrick, Brick, Box

Keychain- Corkscrew stitch (barrel/superbrick)

Pen- box with beads

Uncompleted Keychain- chain link, superbrick, brick

July 17th, 2008:

I have some partial news, but I won't post it yet...can't get my hopes up, right? Still wishing. Pray for me. :)

I've been busy at Tennis and helping out with art events at the library. I've become really devoted to lanyard. Some pics of my work:

Snake Bracelet- cobra stitch, king cobra stitch at head. Red lanyard is a forked tongue. Tail slips through hidden x knot at back of head to form an adjustable bracelet. Really pretty cool, huh?

Keychain- box stitch, sewn in stars.

Keychain- barrel stitch, sewn in triangular beads.

July 13th, 2008:

I started playing tennis four days a week...and I guess it's a learning process. I'm going to be very busy the next few days, and I think I will be hard at work. See?

July 12th, 2008:

We celebrated my birthday early yesterday- I had the best cake and cinnamon rolls. :) They were so good.  Everyone took a pic with me to celebrate, except Teddy was asleep. Ha ha

July 7th, 2008:

I regret that I cannot continue posting chapters of my story, and I pulled down everything but the summary. I'm sorry, but I cannot provide any further details at this point.

July 5th, 2008:

Hey! I just wanted to wish Annie a happy birthday. Make a wish!

Anyway, I haven't been doing much- just working out web kinks and researching some stuff about hs and college. :) Pretty deep, huh? Well, I definitely know one thing- my Chinese will definitely improve with the new CHINESE page that is now up! Yay for me!

Firefox has a few issues that I won't get into now, but I want to thank everyone for your patience. Oh, and my story will be finished sometime before October, promise. Just untangling a few plot lines.

July 1st, 2008:

Hey again! Spent morning decorating house for Laura's early b-day party- looks great. For pics, check out Family News. Anyway, swimming again today:

June 28th, 2008:

Oh, god, I am so tan! It is not even remotely! funny... :( so tan!

Take a look:

Compare and Contrast:

Today:

Two Days Ago:

More sunscreen. Mom is burned and is using aloe with lidocaine...it's supposed to work, right? Anyway, I'm exfoliating with a loofah and rubbing hydrogen peroxide all over myself. Hope to get rid of it. Swimming from 11-3 is not a good idea. :(

Living with it. Hope life will move on. :P

June 26th, 2008:

Good news! I graduated yesterday! So much fun! Went out for lunch right after. I won seven awards:

1. Anthony Weiner Award

2. CREW championship Award

3. Community Service Award

4. Perfect Middle School Attendance Award

5. Excellence in Math Award

6. Perfect ELA state test award

7. Honorable Mention

I am glad to finally move up on to high school. It really is a new experience and I look forward to it. We all looked so mature in the blue caps and gowns with the tassels.

Today was my last day of school. I said goodbye to all my friends and everyone was crying... it was an emotional ending. Also, I scored a 99 on my Integrated Algebra State test...I lost one point, and a 98 on my Earth Science state test...I lost three points, and I 97 on my Spanish state test. Not bad, really...although I'm a bit sore on my Math score...one point! :( But I thought I did worse, so...

PICS!

June 24th, 2008:

We got our  yearbooks today- my autograph pages are all filled up. It turned out great! I am so proud because I did practically the entire thing. We also got our video yearbooks- they were awesome! I did them too! :)

Graduating tomorrow. Scored 790 out of 790 on ELA state exam, but on 754 out of 775 on Math. It's okay, I guess.

June 23rd, 2008:

I just got a bunch of the coolest fonts ever! There's one with little eggs and the other with bunnies...and I have one with trains and one with stick figures in it! SO CUTE! Yeah, um...that's about all the news I have, but it's so awesome, right??? I NEED to show you all a pic!

June 21st, 2008:

Hey, everyone! Still working on graduation stuff, but it should be done on Monday. Finished the program today. Oh, and today was the summer solstice (can you blame me for taking Earth Science all year?) and my father's birthday.

More story for you all: I have a new cover I wish I could post up, too, but I can't.

June 20th, 2008:

Only four days until graduation! Today was the Earth Science testing- my teacher scanned the page and immediately saw I got the EPOCH question incorrect :( Not good.

Anyway, I have some more of my story I want to post up, and the video yearbook is finished. I can't wait to see the entire thing.

I got a 96 on the state SS test, which I guess is pretty good. Spanish testing Monday. Wish me luck!

June 19th, 2008:

Only FIVE more days until I graduate! Yes! I can't believe I am almost finished 8th grade and middle school. We got our caps and gowns today...very fitting. I actually have two tassels, since one is for National Junior Honor Society. OH, and I have 110 hours of community service, awesome, right?

The Earth Science testing is coming up, and I'm nervous- any tips? The test is tomorrow, actually.

 June 17th, 2008:

Just finished the math testing, and now I am studying for the science. I had a few stupid mistakes on the math, I am sorry to say. :( So unhappy right now. So, my school won the trischool crew regatta- won 2 out of 2 races, 500 meters. YAY! I rowed bow. We're having a party next Tuesday- what should I bring?

Oh, and the video yearbook is unfortunately NOT going to be shown at graduation, which really is pretty unfortunate and sad. I worked so hard on it. At least people at buying it, which is good. I think we sold about 120 copies?

June 16th, 2008:
Hey everyone! Again, I am apologizing for the errors in the pic upld. process- working out the kinks. Should have it solved in a few days- I'm a bit busy right now. Srry!

Anyway, the new cover for BREAKING DAWN is out and it is awesome! Although, I have to say that I wanted it to be a bit more...how can I say this? DIFFERENT. :)

We've got a lot going on, and my ICal is a bit filled- I would upload it if I could. I have Earth Science, Spanish, and Math state testing going on, and I just finished the other two Science state tests, Math test, and Humanities/ELA test. Still working.

I just finished reading Tuesdays with Morrie, which I must say, is an absolutely WONDERFUL book. It is top on my list. The book I most want to read that is already out is EAGLE, part of the Five Ancestors series. Or Massie/Alicia. (Clique). I would love to read Breaking Dawn, and see the Twilight/Harry Potter/Indiana Jones movies.

My story is going pretty well- I have to fix the format a bit, then I can put the first chapter up, instead of just the prologue. We'll see what I can do, huh?

Thinking for a lot of things. Downloaded a bunch of new songs for my IPod. It had only 187...that's nothing, huh? I was hoping to break the 200 mark, but I guess I am no where close. That's okay.

Got to go and study. Work calls my name. i feel like I'm doing nothing, while everyone else is going around lugging these huge books with them. :)

Aloha!

June 13th, 2008:
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I am busy working on my school's video yearbook, which is going to be about one hour long. It it awesome and I think I did an amazing job. Wish you could see!
Also, the school yearbook should be coming in soon. I was editor. :) SO happy.

The 8th grade trip was so awesome! We went to Ripley's, ESPN, and Madame Tussauds. Great trip! Took lots of pics to put up online. Hope to have them up soon.

The 8th grade dance was a wonderful, wonderful experience. Everyone was dressed so nicely, and it was a good change to see all your friends outside of school all dressed up. The food was good, and the pictures nice. Can't put any up, sorry, so sorry.

Waiting eagerly for graduation!

June 2nd, 2008:

Story summary:

Viola Sangrini is living at the top of the world. She has nothing to lose, and not much more to gain. Good friends, money, clothes, husband, life…what more could any one person ask for from the world? But she soon learns that material possessions mean nothing in the current world, and that she is about to lose all, and gain none.

Also, I ask that you please respect my writing and do not copy it. Thanks!

May 31st, 2008:

Made it to MST semifinals, just thought you should know. I also decided to put it that I look terrible in surprise pictures:

Oh, and I don't look too great when I'm eating, either:

May 28th, 2008:

MST science competition today- interesting experience. Did terribly, bad presentation in front of judge...stood up there and embarrassed myself. :(

Interesting time today- had testing this afternoon.

May 25th, 2008:

Nothing much to do, nor to say. Studied all day. Worked on my music project. Fiddled with new toy. Nothing much.

Preparing for testing at Stuy in June. Wish me luck! :)

Pictures!

May 24th, 2008:

Beginning of story~

"Swinging a shiny Prada bag, Viola Sangrini casually strolled down 5th Avenue. Slowly, she paused to look at a store display, then walked into Louis Vuitton. Indeed, Viola Sangrini smelled of money, of crisp bills right out of the ATM. Making a few selections, she slid her platinum gold credit card through the machine and carrying her new things, stepped into a black Mercedes convertible."

Whaddaya think?

 Success!

I look forward to school in its entirety come 2009.
