;) - Gail Dickinson is Assistant Professor of Library Science in the Department of Educational Curriculum and Instruction at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.

professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
- Gail is editorial director of Library Media Connection magazine.
- Dr. Dickinson received her undergraduate degree in education from Millersville State University in Pennsylvania, her master of library science (MLS)
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her
doctorate in educational administration (PhD) from the University of
Virginia.
- She has four grown children and lives in Camden, NC with her husband, Mike Colson. They like to watch NASCAR, football and college basketball together.
