Welcome!

I am an associate teaching professor in the Department of Psychology at Northeastern University. I teach courses in the Cognition area, including Psychology of Language, Cognition, Statistics, Research Design, and laboratory courses, along with Cross-Cultural Psychology.

I received my PhD in 2014 from the Department of Psychology at Northeastern University, where I worked under the guidance of Neal Pearlmutter in the Sentence Processing Laboratory. The lab investigates, among other things, how conceptual properties affect production and comprehension of language at the level of the sentence.

The lab is part of the Cognition Group, along with other labs investigating speech perception, phonology, categorization, and causal reasoning.

I am also a speech-language pathologist, certified by ASHA and by the state of Massachusetts. The majority of my clinical experience has been with geriatric and adult clients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
