Barcelona Food

There are also plenty of great returants all around Barcelona. From resturants on the habour, to returants on the beach or resturants in the old quarters. No matter what kind of food you like you'll find it in Barcelona. There are plenty of traditional Tapas bars, selling all the original tapas dishes, such as calamari, patatas bravas.  There are also lots of resturants along the harbour selling the traditional spanish paella and other sea foods. There are a few  famous returants in Barcelona such as Botafumeiro, a famous Barclona fish resturant or the famous cafe Zurich on Placa Catulunya; the favorite place to meet in Barcelona.

There are also plenty of ice cream shops, such as mine and my sisters favorite: Dinos, but of course there are plenty of others as well dotted all round Barcelona all the way down La Rambla and plenty to choose from around Placa Catalunya, which even include Hagen daz, and farggi as well as smaller, individual ice cream shops.

There are even a few more American style restaurant if that's more your thing. Barcelona  has the chicargo pizza pie factory and in Placa Catulunya, which know city should be without, The Hard Rock Cafe. 

Sparkling wine in Catulunya is no Champagne but Cava and only 45 minutes train rideaway from Placa de Catulunya is Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, a small town reponsible for 80 per cent of cava production.
