A butterfly valve is a valve which can be used for isolating or regulating flow. The closing mechanism takes the form of a disk. Operation is similar to that of a ball valve, which allows for quick shut off.

Amri is an Arabic ethnic group of Sudan. The members of this group speak Sudanese Arabic. The number of people in this group is about 50,000.

Amri. Desert side: Ghost city. "God preserve us from the Dam" replied another poet. Last year, in August, because of the Dam, the first part of the area was drowned. People had to move. Half of them have not been resettled -they were landless peasants. With the next floods, in august, all those villages will disappear. In which conditions? Can God preserve from waters? Water is life. Water issue is also the dead-end dialogue between the State and its people: Dead money for a dead land. Dead-ends in negociations. Struggle to the end for people who are just asking for life. How can governments send their people to death?

A Day With Amri Ginang One of the most traveled photographers working in Malaysia today. Described by his admirer as a "poet of Composition". Amri started his professional career when Brendenberg Fashion House in Stockholm assigned him to shoot their Winter Campaign in 1985. After that his work has been used by some major advertisers and publisher in Sweden , Thailand , Singapore , Australia and Malaysia. Born in Sabah Malaysia , Amri discover photography at an early age. After finishing his A-level studies in Wisbech Cambridgeshire , he moved to London learning more photography at St. Martin School of Art Covent Garden.
