Restaurant o Molhe ***** The building right in front, situated in the port of Funchal, is now a five star restaurant. With amazing views of the city of Funchal and to the Atlantic, this place is like a magic island that just come out of the sea to give you the opportunity to seat and relax while having your meal. With large glass windows, and lovely balconies, you can feel the fresh sea smell as you will be surrounded by the Attlantico and on the other side the lights of the city. This is the best place on hearth for a romantic meal, with great decor, romantic felling and most of all, the food was absolutely amazing, considering I have dinned in some great restaurants in London, Paris and other places. O Molhe has 2 dinning areas and I had dinner on the top restaurant, where there's a degustation menu and wine can be suggested and staff is polite and very interested to hear you. Well renovated, mixed with brick walls and large glass windows, build into a small fort and very tastefully decorated, I finished my evening in the downstairs bar where locals even felt as relaxed as me and some fell asleep in the cozy bar seats, no worries at all, its like a meditation center. The outside decking can also provide you with comfy furniture where you can enjoy the sea and the moon while having your last drink and take another opportunity to feel the breeze of the beautiful Atlantic.
