Amfir String Quartet   

  Boris Kuznetsov -(violin, the leader of the Amfir Quartet)
Born December 6 1985 in Siberia. Studied violin from the age of 5 (with a Merited teacher of the Russian Federation, J. Doni). 1995-2001: participant in the Youth symphonic orchestra of Novosibirsk. 2000 - Solo concert with the orchestra of the Novosibirsk philharmonic society (F.Mendelson. Concert e-moll. Conductor, National artist of the Russian Federation M. Abramov). From 1994 - leader and first violin of the string trio which in 2004 became the quartet "Amfir". Successfully graduated the Musical College with a Diploma (2007, St.Petersburg).
  Gleb Kuznetsov -(viola, violin)
Born April 16 1987 in Siberia. Studied violin from the age of 5 (with the Merited teacher of the Russian Federation J. Doni). 1997-2001: orchestral practice in the Youth symphonic orchestra of Novosibirsk (Artistic Director, National artist of the USSR A. Kats). From 1998 starts to master the alto under the direction of Pr J. Mashchenko, of Novosibirsk conservatory. Played music in ensembles since 1993. Within the trio or quartet plays equally well the violin and the alto. Also creates musical transpositions for the "Amfir" Quartet. Successfully graduated the Musical College with a Diploma (2007, St.Petersburg).
  Igor Kuznetsov -(cello)
Born August 5 1989 in Siberia. At age 4 chose his own instrument, the violoncello. Started to study under the Merited teacher of the Russian Federation A. Borozdin. In 1999 joins the special musical school of Novosibirsk (class of Pr.  E. Nilov of Novosibirsk conservatory). In 2006 he graduates Youth Musical School with a diploma with an outstanding result (2006, St.Petersburg). 1999 -2001: participates in the Youth symphonic orchestra of Novosibirsk. From 1994 plays with the string trio "Amfir" (which becomes a quartet in 2004). 
  Gorislava Kuznetsova -(violin, piano)
Born August 17 1991 in Siberia. From the age of 5 studied at musical school in 2 sections: violin (with a Merited teacher of the Russian Federation J. Doni) and piano. From 2004 plays second violin in the quartet "Amfir". In 2006 had her first experience playing in piano quartets (W.A. Mozart quartet in g-moll for piano and string trio). In 2007 she graduates Youth Musical School with two diplomas (2007, St.Petersburg)
