American Goat, formerly Apocalypse Magazine, of Northeastern Illinois University is seeking submissions for it's upcomming issue.

Continuing a 20 year plus tradition of publishing great literature, American Goat is dedicated to providing a practical and uninhibited view of the arts, prejudiced to no particular school or movement; the editors welcome the submissions of published artists, but revels in the joy of the work of those who are just beginning.  We publish poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction as well as visual art.  Our criteria for publication is simple: we seek work that is vivid, complex, and practical—the things we know but have never seen.
