Cousins in matching PJ's on the beach in December BENCH =) We went to Charleston (Isle of Palms) last week with my sisters, their families, our mom, brother and some good friends of our family. My mom (Granna) bought us all matching pajamas. She bought them for all of the girls and my little boy Jack (however, as you can see, we got him the same style of pjs but didn't put him in polka dots =). The husbands opted out of this event...however, they are all such wonderful husbands that if we had found them some matching pjs, I am sure they would have worn them! =) Ha. Maybe next year... Anyway, we decided for something different, that we should all wear the pjs down on the beach and take our group picture there (will have to post that pic another time =). After that pic, I had the older cousins stand on this log for my bench pic. It was just sitting right there hollering, "use me as a bench"!!! =) It was pretty cold and we only stayed out there long enough to take the pics. But as you can see, there were quite a few people out and about on the beach that day. Also as a little side note, previously that week, the beach was covered with starfish! It was crazy. I will have to upload a pic of that sometime too. I have never seen anything like it. It was almost like something out of a horror movie! =/ But thankfully, the ocean must have washed them all away because they weren't there anymore for the bench pic. HBM everybody!!! =) pink shirt, 8/19/09
She was licking the shaved spot where the fentanyl patch had been, and started to give herself a hot-spot. She also licked a tiny bit at her staples. This light pajama tank-top (It was a freebie! I did not buy pink jammies! :)) was enough to stop her, and we didn't have to resort to an e-collar or anything. She didn't even seem to mind wearing it at all. She did look kind of 80's for a while, with off-the-shoulder straps and a knot at the waist. Also it was a little "low-cut" on her, and kinda trashy looking. At work she was referred to as "Trailer Park Princess" and other such names. And I had to walk around for almost a week with people thinking I'm the kind of person who dresses up her dog in a little pink shirt for no practical reason! I was glad when the irritated spot healed up and wasn't itchy anymore, and the shirt could come off. (Ruly didn't seem to mind either way.)
