Megan Ballinger

Coach Ballinger is beginning her second year as the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at Hilliard Darby.  She has been at Darby since 2007 when she led the freshman girls volleyball team.  She has been involoved in Junior Olympic Volleyball for a combined 10 years as a player and coach.  Megan has coached club volleyball for the past five years, most recently for the Pickerington Area Volleyball Club and is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  She played volleyball in the North Coast Athletic Conference for Ohio Wesleyan University where she was a two-year captain and earned conference honors as a middle hitter.  Megan is an English teacher at Linden McKinley High School and resides in Dublin, Ohio with her husband, Andrew. 

Lesley Franklin

Coach Franklin is entering into her first season as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Hilliard Darby. Lesley last coached at Eastern Kentucky University, where as an assistant guided the Colonels to a winning record and a berth in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.  Lesley excelled on the court at EKU as well.  During her collegiate career, she led the colonels to an OVC Championship and a NCAA tournament appearance.  She was twice named All Ohio Valley Conference and was an AVCA All Regional performer as a senior.  Lesley graduated from EKU in 2005 with a Masters degree in Physical Education.  She is a native of Cranberry Township, PA and currently resides with her husband Chip and her chocolate lab, Lexi, in Powell, OH.

Wil Rotruck

Coach Wil Rotruck is entering his first year with the Junior Varsity team and the Hilliard Darby High School Volleyball program.  He brings more than 20 years of playing and coaching experience.  Most recently he spent two years heading the program at Wedgewood Middle School and the past 5 years coaching club teams ranging from 15 & under to 18 & under.   Wil is a principal at Commercial Lighting and Electric and resides in Grove City, Ohio with his wife Jennifer and their 2 year old son, Ian.

Wayne Tsai

Coach Tsai is beginning his first year as Freshmen Girls Volleyball Coach at Hilliard Darby.  He has been involved with volleyball as player and coach for the past 9 years, most recently as a coach with the men’s program at Dublin Scioto.  A Dublin Scioto and Miami University graduate, Wayne played as opposite hitter/sitter in the 6-2 system.  He will also began his first year teaching as a Math and Computer Science teacher at Darby this Fall.
