"Make Something Cool Everyday" project. For a class project, I'm designing a band website. As part of the logo exploration I used a snapshot of an album from the band Caribou, to pixelate and break up the original. Dan Snaith (Caribou) has a degree in Mathematics, and the pixelation alludes to the math involved in describing images on a computer. He also draws a lot of inspiration from his record collection, new and old, and in this case I'm re-purposing a part of an album cover as he re-purposes sounds and instruments from his collection. His one-man operation studio in his London flat is built partly around computers and technology to create his music, and in this case, technology is used to generate the logo form.

One of the bits of kit my son used during his degree course of "Music Technology and Innovation" at De Montfort University, Leicester. I just loved the colour combinations and shapes here.
