Aleschia Hyde ’12 is from Atlanta, GA and attended Chamblee Charter High School where she participated in the school’s magnet program. In high school she was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Beta Club. Hyde is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Government. On campus she is an undergraduate advisor for freshmen and an intern for the Dartmouth Undergraduate Admissions Office. She has volunteered through the Tucker Foundation’s Alternative Spring Break Program in South Dakota at the Cheyenne River Youth Project and in Florida for Habitat for Humanity. She is also a recipient of the 2010 Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award and of the Politics and Law Grant. Last winter Hyde interned for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Additionally she has studied aboard in Mexico and Demark. After graduation, she intends on completing a dual master’s program overseas in foreign policy.
