David Stewart appointed dean of the School of Mathematics and Science at CCBC BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. – David Stewart, a 37-year faculty member at the Community College of Baltimore County, has been appointed academic dean of its School of Mathematics and Science. In addition to his long tenure on the Mathematics faculty, he has held positions as the Mathematics department chair at CCBC Catonsville, division chairperson for Mathematics, Science, Engineering and Technology at Dundalk, and academic dean for Mathematics and Science at CCBC Dundalk. Dean Stewart completed his undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.A.) degrees in Mathematics at the State University of New York-Fredonia and earned a second Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University. He also has held adjunct teaching positions at Johns Hopkins University, Towson University and UMBC. The Ellicott City, Md. resident notes, “Over the years, I have enjoyed the opportunity to interact with students, faculty, staff and community members in my efforts to promote student success and am l looking forward to being able to continue doing so in my new role as the dean.”

Unpacking is a length process. At one point all of the notes I'd ever made over the course of four years of physics were upon my bed.
