I am Amar Ghaisas. I'm 25, currently working in the field of Systems Biology as a Bio-modeling Scientist. I am a thinker, an analyzer, an avid observer and a warm appreciator.. I am sane and at the same time equally eccentric and weird ... i am both humble and arrogant .. i am stubborn and sensitive ... I am Black, I am White and I am Grey too ...

I am interested in Science, art (paintings and music), people, books, poetry, social activities (specially for kids and elderly), photography, trekking and traveling among many myriad  of interests. Being a systems biologist involves a lot of scientific reading on various subjects and being able to do just that is the best thing ! I am a book lover who's still wandering through the different genres of literature - mostly I like popular science, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, fantasy, history, novels etc. Having learnt Marathi for good 10 years during the school days implies that i have been following different genres of Marathi literature too. Currently I am reading the "Ramayana" series written by Ashok K. Banker. I am on the third volume - "Demons of Chitrakut" and there are three more volumes to go. This series by AKB, is just fantastic in its setting, concept and intent .. I am loving it ! After that there are several books in the line .. one of them as an example is the "Uncommon Wisdom" by Fritjof Capra.
