Biography
 

Amar Prakash Azad:

He received B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication engineering
from the CT, G.B. Pant  University of Agriculture and Technology, INDIA, and  M.S.(Engg.) in Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He has worked with the Radar Division at Bharat Electronics Limited(India) during the year 2001 to 2003. He has also worked in R & D group at Beceem Communications (now Braodcom) for the development of WiMAX Systems during the year 2006-2007. He did Ph.D. at Maestro, INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France in November 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Eitan Altman. Currently he is a post doctoral researcher at UCSC.

He has more than 15 International conference papers and 4 Journal papers and owns a US patent. He has been reviewer of several International conferences and Journals such as Globecom, Infocom, WCNC, TON, JSAC, Elsevier, Comnet etc. He has been TPC for more than 10 International conferences, eg. Globecom '07,'08,'09, WCNC '08,'09, NetcoopG '11, etc .His research activities focuses on modeling and performance evaluation of wireless communication networks. His research interests include Communication Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, WiMAX, Application of Game theory in Communication Networks,  Control and Optimization in Wireless Adhoc and Access Networks, DTNs.
