My name is Amanda and I live in the great cowboys and indian state. I'm currently attending High School and once I graduate I plan to attend the Pacifi Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon (if they'll have me) to get my Bachelor's in Illustratoin or General Fine Arts I haven't decided.

     My favorite color is purple, my eyes are hazel and I have a little button nose curtesy of my Dad. My hero has to be my big brother because he's always believed in me and supported me, he was the one who got me into drawing and the feeling of release and relaxation I get when I pick up a pencil. I'm a huge disney fan, and I'd have to say my favorite Disney movie has to be Beauty and the Beast. Although I don't want to work at Disney, no, what I really want to do is work at Dreamworks Animation Studios in the Character Devolpment department where they brainstorm and come up with different looks for the characters that eventually make it to the big screen.

    Eventually I want to get married and live in Europe somewhere and be able to live off the money I make freelancing. My favorite comic book is Danger Girls, and my favorite artist at the moment (it changes quite often) is Van Gogh, especially the way he matched a different kind of emotion to each color.

    My favorite painting is Michealangelo's "The Creation of Adam" on the ceiling of the Sisteenth Chapel.
