The Grannas research group at Villanova University studies a wide range of topics under the umbrella of "analytical environmental chemistry", including the impacts of photochemistry on pollutant cycling, snow and ice photochemistry, cycling of persistent organic pollutants in Arctic regions, and development of advanced analytical techniques to study organic material in ice cores.
