Amado Rosas Lopez was born in Mexico City on October 27, 1990. Amado has two younger siblings that he loves a lot. Amado first came to the United States when he was 13 years of age. When he got here he attended Calvin Simmons Middle School. At firs things were hard for him because he did not know anybody there and he also did not know how to speak English. This was also hard for him because he had to get used to a new life style and new people. Amado also had to adjust to the different way that the teacher’s taught here. Some of Amado’s interests are that he likes sports one sport in particular is soccer, he also likes to watch T.V, he likes to read, and he likes to go out to the movies with his friends. Amado is also the type of person that is always willing to help anyone that comes up to him and asks him for help no matter what it is he will always say yes. Some of the hardest obstacles that he has faced is coming to a whole new world that he does not know anything about and having to learn a whole new different language for him which at first was really hard for him because he did not know anybody. Also having to move from Mexico City to the United States and starting a whole new life from scratch. Some of the different places that Amado Rosas has lived in Tlalnepantla, Mexico City for 13 years, he also lived in Modesto, California for two months and has been living in Oakland, California for the past 4 years. Some of the community volunteer work that he has done is Save the Bay what he did here was that he went to the bay and cleaned the beach and was planting. He also volunteered a Frick Middle School located on 64^th ave and foothill in Oakland, California tutoring their students by helping them out with their homework. One job that Amado has had is working with the Oakland Food Connection as a gardener.
