I'm Mexican American. Half and half. Even though both of my parents are from Mexico, I've lived in the U.S most of my life. See, I came here with my family when I was 4 years old. I've been here ever since. Yet, even though I don't know anything but here, I still can't ignore my heritage. It's part of who I am, like it or not. And I like it. My culture is rich and beautiful. I wouldn't give it up for anything.
