  2. The subtopics will be the subjects of your two body paragraphs.
  3. Choose six facts (CDs) from your research.
  4. Copy and paste the information into the appropriate CD boxes in either the Google doc, or attached MS Word doc.
  5. Write your commentary (CMs), topic sentences (TS) and concluding sentences (CDs).
  6. Paste your links to the CDs in the last table.
  7. Save your document.
  8. Print it out and give it to Mr. Alves on Thursday, 10/20 (A Days) or Friday 10/21 (B Days)

In six to seven sentences, respond to the paragraph in the box below below. Use at least three direct quotes to prove this point.

Reb Saunders reveals his reasons for his silence toward Danny in Chapter18
. By depriving Danny of a certain physical stimulus, Reb Saunders forces him to cultivate other senses of perception. In other words, the imposed silence forces Danny to mature. Danny’s experience with silence parallels Reuven’s experience with blindness, forcing him to turn inward, and thus develop a better sense of his soul, a greater empathy for others, and a better sense of the world and his role in it.
