When I was a child a storyteller man came to my school and told us the story of a man who lived alone in a hut in the bush. One night he saw a CREATURE in his hut, he chased it with an axe and it escaped up the chimney but not before he hacked off its tail. He cooked the tail and ate it for supper (as you do) and went to bed happily. He woke in the night to a scratching and scrabbling on the roof. Lying in the dark a chill of terror came over him as he heard a scratchy, screechy voice floating through the night air ... "Taaaaailypo.... taiiiiiiiiiiilypo... ALL I WANT is my taiiiilypo" the voice cried filled with sad longing. Thats basically... it really, the CREATURE comes back every night and calls out for its TAILYPO! Until the man goes insane and runs off into the night never to be seen again. I always hoped the CREATURE got him and ATE him because seriously, I hate that guy! Anyway, while I love this story now as a child it SCARED THE FREAKING BEJEEEESUS OUT OF MEEEE!!!!!! Proper shivers of horror haha! And every bedtime my EVIL brother used to scratch on the wall between our bedrooms and whisper menacingly "taaaailypo... taiiilypo... ALL....I....WANT... is... my taaaaailypo" until I got so terrified I had to run to mama. And the moral of the story is, my brother wins at life. And I have two beloved tailypos living in the little room off my bedroom who don't frighten me at all, luckily.

I just realized I had this on my hard drive and had forgotten to upload it. This is a Cooking Mama ad with Peach, Zelda and Samus in it along with a ton of other characters. There's a french guy who drew all these, he has a Flickr account where I got the three pics further on in my stream. Each person has a note over them telling you who they are, where they're from and what they're cooking. Edit: I've also uploaded a larger, higher quality version of the pic. There's a character called Jade who isn't pictured; she's from Beyond Good and Evil and is peeling a potato.
