Altrusa International of Harrisburg, organized April 1955 and Chartered December 5, 1955, is an organization of professional and business leaders who represent a diversity of career fields.  Classified service organization with no more than 10% of a club's members coming from any one business or professional field.

Altrusa was incorporated in August 1917, and we are one of 453 Altrusa clubs worldwide with more than 13,800 members.

Altrusans share in leadership, carrying out programs to assist in answering community needs.  We are driven by a common desire to help and to serve others.
