Dick Whittington and made recordings which were later broadcast on the Home service.
A very exciting event for those involved with the Players at the time. The captions throughout all slide shows give the names of village people as they
were then, not the characters they played.
We would like to thank Barry Davies for permission to use his father Trevor's photographs. Due to their age and condition the quality is somewhat variable however they offer a valuable reminder of a very enterprising and happy time in the village.
