The Altares Del Mundo art exhibition is loosely based on the "Day of the Dead" celebration. Regional artists create art installations reflecting traditional and non-traditional interpretations of this celebration of remembrance. Altars reflect a variety of artistic and personal expression and often include subjects such as family, friends, celebrities, social trends, environmental issues, political statements, tragedy, misfortune and war.
