May 19, 2012~ 4th Annual Veteran's Appreciation Cruise In~ Armed Force's Day~Yadkinville, NC 4pm-9pm May 19, 2012~Ride to Honor - Mendoza Park, Spring Lake, NC - 8am May 19, 2012~Fundraiser for Tim Vuncannon's Post 530 - Andy's in Fuquay, NC - 7-10am June 1-2, 2012~ Relay for Life, JCC around the pond in Smithfield, NC June 2, 2012-Honor A Four Oaks Fallen Hero ceremony at Barbour's Grove in Four Oaks, NC - Memorial 2PM June 2, 2012- POW/MIA monthly ceremony, Raleigh at Capital Building NOON June 9, 2012- Ride to Uwharrie. Meet at BoJangles in Lillington 8:30am. June 10, 2012-Our monthly meeting at 2pm. Installing officers and hot dog cookout after meeting. June 17, 2012- Annual Give 2 The Troops benefit ride. Place/time TBD. June 24, 2012- Fallen Heroes Memorial Ride- Place/time TBD. Directions for printing your own photos from the site: click on the album you want to open it click on the photo you want to print at the top of the photo click on Actions tab click on download photo choose where you want to save the photo then just follow with your print program or save to disc, jump drive, etc. and print at Walmart or wherever you get your photos printed Our American Legion Riders chapter can only be strong and accomplish great things if we ALL work together and share in the responsibilities. When you become a member of our chapter, we want you to be a part of all we are trying to accomplish. We need every single member to participate so we can become a strong and unified chapter. We have alot of opportunities in our communities to show them how much we care. Let's get out there and get the job done, together! The Riders will meet the 2nd Sunday of every month at the Benson Post at 2PM.
The American Legion Riders
The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. They can be found participating in parades, partaking in motorcycling events, and supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play. Members of the ALR come from the Legion, the Legion Auxilliary, and the Sons of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders were formed... ...to participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the Aims and Purposes of the American Legion....to promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest. ...to use our Association to promote and support programs of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders is not a M/C, and does not practice M/C rules or regulations.
